We are currently searching for candidates for a Sr. Sales Manager for Outside Sales in our Warren, OH location.

Responsibilities :

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow revenue, expand market share, and support overall business goals.

Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with key accounts, OEMs, and strategic partners.

Lead business development efforts across both capital equipment and aftermarket service offerings, ensuring balanced growth.

Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with high-value customers and decision makers.

Promote the company’s service capabilities—including maintenance, repair, and modernization—to increase recurring revenue.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers and Sales Engineers to achieve individual and team KPIs.

Present compelling value propositions and lead customer negotiations, contract discussions, and deal closures.

Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and customer site visits to enhance brand visibility.

Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to proactively adjust go-to-market strategies.

Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure customer expectations for service quality and responsiveness are met.

Work with finance and leadership to ensure pricing strategies and terms optimize margin while remaining competitive.

Provide regular forecasts, pipeline updates, and strategic sales insights to executive leadership.

Maintain expert-level knowledge of the company’s product and service portfolio, competitive positioning, and customer value drivers.

Education / Experience / Skills / Knowledge :

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline (advanced degree or equivalent experience a plus).

Strong technical foundation in flat-rolling steel production processes, equipment, and service solutions.

15–20 years of progressive commercial or business development experience within the metals or heavy industrial equipment sector.

Proven success in complex contract negotiations and securing long-term commercial agreements.

Demonstrated ability to build executive-level relationships and navigate large, strategic accounts.

Deep understanding of commercial and financial drivers including pricing, margin, and value creation.

Skilled at analyzing markets, understanding competitive positioning, and identifying growth opportunities.

Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and business acumen.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence across organizational levels.

Highly collaborative, adaptable, and capable of working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and service teams.
