Position Summary
The Regional Teacher Champion and Storyteller serves as an advocate, connector, and communicator between Hope Street Group and the educator communities in California and Utah. This role will inspire and mobilize teachers to integrate FutureMe in their classrooms, participate in the FutureReady AI Challenge, and contribute to regional storytelling efforts that elevate educator and student voices.
This position may be structured as part-time (50%) for current educators with reduced teaching loads or full-time (100%) for candidates focused exclusively on regional advocacy and outreach.

Key Responsibilities
Educator Engagement and MobilizationInspire and equip educators to use FutureMe in their classrooms.Encourage school and district participation in the FutureReady AI Challenge.Represent Hope Street Group at key education events and conferences (e.g., UCET, Educating for Careers, regional FBLA events).Build and maintain local educator councils and professional networks that promote AI and career readiness.Storytelling and Advocacy
Serve as a credible spokesperson and ambassador for FutureMe and the FutureReady AI Challenge.Gather and share authentic educator and student stories that highlight impact and outcomes.Collaborate with the Regional Development Lead and national marketing team to amplify stories across multiple channels (press, social media, donor materials, events).Partnership and Fundraising Support
Partner with the Regional Development Lead to support fundraising, visibility, and community engagement efforts.Contribute teacher and student insights, stories, and data to strengthen proposals and donor communications.Participate in donor visits, events, and community showcases as a representative of the educator community.Product and Marketing Collaboration
Provide feedback on product usability, classroom experience, and feature enhancements.Support social media and marketing campaigns by sharing classroom examples, testimonials, and stories from the field.Qualifications
Current or former K–12 teacher; experience as a teacher leader or educator advocate preferred.Based in Southern California (Los Angeles or San Diego) or Utah.Deep understanding of the regional education landscape and strong connections within local educator communities.Excellent communication and storytelling skills; comfort with public speaking and community engagement.Demonstrated belief in Hope Street Group’s mission and the potential of technology and AI in education.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Experience with or willingness to learn basic fundraising and partnership development principles.Success Metrics
Secures $1M+ in regional commitments (jointly with the Regional Development Lead) by the end of 2026 through storytelling and community visibility.Achieves strong regional participation in FutureMe and the FutureReady AI Challenge.Builds a vibrant, connected network of educators advocating for AI-driven future readiness.
