Job Description\n

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with at least 2 years of home health experience and active Massachusetts licensure for a home care position.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Home health setting providing speech therapy services to patients in their homes
  • Cares for diverse patient populations requiring rehabilitation
  • Use of rehabilitation equipment including language / communication aids and devices
  • Position requires travel between patient locations throughout the region
  • Candidate must provide their own vehicle
  • Weekday schedule; details provided during interview
  • Responsibilities include assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of speech, language, and communication disorders in a home care environment
  • Position may require travel between multiple home visit locations each day
  • Acute care experience is preferred but not required
  • Candidates are limited to a maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO)
  • References and up-to-date skills checklist are required for consideration
  • Clinical team support is available remotely as needed

  • Current MA Speech-Language Pathologist license required if applicable
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; Clinical Fellow candidates accepted
  • Minimum 2 years of home care experience as an SLP
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification
  • Experience with rehabilitation equipment and adaptive devices required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Candidate must live more than 50 miles from the facility
