Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Recommend Storage infrastructure solutions based on business requirements.
• Lead storage architectural designs for migration activities, The Storage engineer will be responsible for leading a migration project towards ensuring the storage environment supports the needs of the business.
• Migration engineer, acting as the point of contact and ensuring continuity of operations, and providing guidance on their development.
• Regularly meet with stakeholders to discuss initiatives and ensure storage environment stays ahead of any expected growth / changes.
• Plan migration activity, Scope out migration plan, execute & implement plan for ILTS process.
• Conduct performance, capacity, and lifecycle planning across the suite of storage and backup products, adjusting overall strategy as required.
• Author regulatory documents, Able to use vendor storage management tools to monitor, provision and report on the Storage infrastructure health and capacity, Perform Storage Management activities - zoning, provisioning, replication, troubleshooting etc.
• Advance knowledge of working with storage vendor & application vendors.
• Administer Enterprise backup software / hardware.
• Coordinate and manage vendor supported activities (Installs, maintenance, migrations etc.) Use change management process. Attend meetings as a team representative.
