HR Generalist Position

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Bloomington, Minnesota. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to various human resources functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and onboarding processes. As a long-term contract position, you will play a key role in supporting our healthcare-focused organization.

Responsibilities:

• Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires are integrated effectively into the organization.
• Administer benefits programs and provide guidance to employees on available options.
• Maintain and update HRIS systems to ensure accurate employee data and compliance.
• Handle leave administration, including processing requests and ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Collaborate with managers to support workforce planning and organizational development.
• Create and implement HR policies that align with company goals and regulatory requirements.
• Provide training and support to employees on HR-related procedures and systems.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to generate reports and analyze HR metrics.
• Assist with compliance audits and reporting to ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in employee relations and resolving workplace issues.
• Strong knowledge of human resources administration and practices.
• Familiarity with benefits management and related processes.
• Proficiency in using HRIS platforms for data management and reporting.
• Experience in leave administration and understanding of relevant laws.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
