$145,000 to $165,000 per year

About The Position

Optometrist Position in California

Join a growing Optometry team in Atwater, CA! This is a great opportunity to make a real impact in a busy, established center, offering both medical and refractive care.

Practice Setting :

Comprehensive health center with 60+ exam rooms, including handicap-accessible and pre-testing rooms
Supportive team including Opticians, Technicians, and Optical Staff
Advanced technology featuring Opti-Map, Visual Field, OCT, and more

Schedule : Monday to Friday

Patient mix is 40% medical optometry, 60% comprehensive / refractive care

Compensation & Benefits :

Competitive salary, starting at $145,000, with daily bonus potential and generous sign-on and relocation bonuses

Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus a retirement plan with matching contributions

Up to $3,000 annually for continuing education, with student loan forgiveness options available

3 weeks of paid time off, 15 sick days, and ample support

Location :

Atwater, CA – A charming community with a population of 40K, located in Merced County

Enjoy Yosemite National Park (2 hours away), Lake Yosemite, and the coastal areas of Monterey and Carmel (2 hours away)

Candidate Qualifications :

Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited school

Active California State License and current CPR certification
