Harm Reduction Program Coordinator

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Harm Reduction Program Coordinator is responsible for maintaining supply inventory and coordinating the distribution of harm reduction resources and supplies in the community. In collaboration with the staff members of the Yaytaanak Wellness Center (YWC), the Harm Reduction Program Coordinator will provide confidential, culturally appropriate, and patient-centered support to Tribal and community members.

CORE SCOPE OF POSITION

• Works in coordination with the YWC staff and leadership to meet grant goals and guidelines.
• Performs weekly physical inventory.
• Handle all aspects of procuring supplies and stocking the vending machine(s).
• Review and provide monthly usage reports for the vending machine(s) to leadership.
• Ensure all vending machine equipment is in good working order, escalating to department leadership immediately any broken, unsafe, or nonfunctioning equipment.
• Keeps shelves organized, rotates stock if needed and removes any expired product.
• Reallocates soon-to-expire product whenever possible to reduce waste.
• Provide case management to Tribal Members and community members who request assistance with their health needs.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained.
• Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
