We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Administrative Assistant to support the Operations Manager in a dynamic, hybrid role based in Emeryville. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a respected law firm and contribute to critical operational functions. Legal and administrative background is a huge plus.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting Support : Assist with candidate coordination and onboarding processes - legal recruiting.

Payroll Administration : Manage timecard corrections, audit penalties, track PTO, and set up future holidays and pay periods.

Compliance : Handle taxes and state notices accurately and on time.

Event Planning & Engagement : Organize firm events and foster employee engagement initiatives.

Accounting & Bookkeeping : Provide support for budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking.

File Management : Maintain organized and accessible records and documentation.

Training Coordination : Update training calendars and repositories.

Policy Updates : Assist with Employee Handbook revisions and departmental reporting.

Adaptability : Take on evolving responsibilities as the firm’s needs grow.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid schedule based in Emeryville, CA.

Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $60,000 to $80,000 and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, and 401k plans.
