Lead Teacher Job Description :

This is a full-time on-site year round role for a Lead Preschool Teacher located at one of Ascension Catholic Academy’s five school sites listed above. Under the supervision of the Director of Early Childhood Learning, the Lead Preschool Teacher will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as lesson planning, curriculum development, and implementing a high quality early childhood experience. Effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and families is essential. The Lead Preschool Teacher strives to achieve the goals of Catholic education by developing an age-appropriate faith-filled learning and social environment that is nurturing and engaging for all preschool students. May perform other job-related tasks as deemed necessary and / or assigned by the Director of Early Childhood Learning.

Assistant Teacher Job Description :

We are seeking an Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our preschool team at Ascension Catholic School. Under the supervision of the Lead Preschool Teacher and the Director of Early Childhood Learning, the Assistant Preschool Teacher will assist with day-to-day tasks such as preparing lessons, supporting students during activities, and maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment. The ideal candidate will be pursuing a degree in early childhood education or a related field and have a passion for working with young children. This position requires a commitment to creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that reflects the values of Catholic education.
