Job Summary : The accounts payable / payroll administrator is responsible to ensure the accurate and on time processing of accounts payable and payroll.
Knowledge and Skills (Education) :
3 years in Accounts Payable / Finance experienceMinimum College diploma in Accounting / BusinessMS Outlook, Word and Excel a mustExperience with integrated Finance software packagesWell organized Past experience in handling Payroll / Finance responsibilitiesADP experienceContact with Canadian Payroll AssociationStrong Data entry skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsWell organizedMajor Accountabilities :
Must work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Company rules, policies and proceduresMust use or wear equipment, protective devices or clothing as required by the companyEnsure invoices are matched to packing slipsVerify that invoice price matches purchase order, resolve disputed itemsContact Supplier regarding missing invoices as per receiving reportEnter all invoices in to CMS, matching items to receiverProcess payments according to termsFile and maintain all documentsReview all timecards / sheets for accuracy, get Supervisor approval for questionable hoursEnter all timecard / time sheets into payroll software on a daily basisRecord all manual adjustmentsProvide reports (manual / system generated) analyzing hour and cost detailsDownload time clocks and print daily attendanceDistribute daily attendance to Supervisors and / or ManagersTrack daily attendance attainment from Supervisors and / or ManagersInput payroll changes dailyFollow-up with purchasing regarding all supplier accounts payable discrepanciesSubmit payroll information on a bi-weekly basisReview payroll register for accuracyProvide payroll entry to accountingReview all vacation accrual amountsReconcile all tax and benefit paymentsFile and maintain all recordsAll other tasks assigned by ControllerWorking Conditions :
