Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery / Physician to work locum shifts in Dothan, Alabama (AL). Starting in July 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.The Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery role : Inpatient only, beeper, no clinic hours or elective procedures.Caveat : If the vacating physician has a handful (5 or fewer) post-operative patients in-house, it may be required that the locum provider round on, and discharge patients as appropriate.Facility : 24 / 7 emergency department with trauma-trained staff. Advanced Primary Heart Attack.Support Team : Hospitalists, intensivist.Cases : stroke and heart care, spine and vascular surgery, cardiac ICU, vascular services, and interventional cardiology.Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role : AL state license; active, unrestrictedBoard certified Cardiothoracic & Vascular SurgeryAL State DEABLS, ACLSLevel III Trauma experience or equivalent.
