Winichahanat Veterinary Care is a privately owned, 3 Doctor, full-service hospital with a unique client care model. We offer an array of services such as : routine and urgent care appointments, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dentistry, endoscopy, and ultrasound in hospital. We are looking for a highly skilled team member who is dedicated to service, has a passion for medicine, and is driven to succeed. Previous clinical experience as a Veterinary Technician / Nurse is required and we will train specific skills needed in our clinic. Proficient working knowledge of vaccines, well-care, restraint, anesthesia, venipuncture, laboratory and common medications and therapies in Veterinary practice is required as is excellent client service skills and attention to detail. Salary : Starting wages are based on experience, skills, and credentials.

Responsibilities :

• Assist the veterinarian in providing medical care to animals.
• Perform laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed by the veterinarian.
• Maintain patient records and provide client education.
• Monitor animal behavior and vital signs.
• Provide nursing care to sick or injured animals.
• Assist in the preparation of surgical instruments and equipment.

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time

Pay : $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
