Job descriptionM.S. or B.S. Mantell Associates is partnered with an innovative Biotech who are seeking a highly motivated and resourceful Systems Engineer to join their team.
Systems Engineer - Responsibilities :
- In-depth knowledge of component-level and end-to-end system-level hardware design, integration, and power / performance trade-off
- Power electronics, systems design, systems controls
- Design and develop battery modules and packs based on system requirements
- Test and validate existing systems designs and coordinate systems developemnt with collaborators
- Integrate battery cells into scalable, reliable, and safe module and pack solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and ensure proper communication between the cell and system teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve design challenges related to battery performance, thermal management, and safety
- DFMA of battery systems and testing under relevant protocol to validate performance and predict cycle life
- Develop testing protocols for battery systems to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Support manufacturing scale-up, ensuring alignment between cell and module / pack designs
