Contract Project Coordinator
Location : Onsite in Quincy, Massachusetts
Pay Rate : $30-$37 an hour W2
The client seeks a highly motivated Project Coordinator to drive the planning, coordination, and execution of the implementation of the Electronic Visit Verification project. The Project Coordinator will report to the Applications Director and EVV Technical Project Manager and shall oversee the many business, technical, vendor, project, and procurement requirements needed for the success of the complete project, software development, and operations phase required for the ongoing health of the clients program. Project coordination is a key function of this role, so ensuring weekly updates as to the status of work, items that are outstanding, items that have been completed during the week, and what work is planned for the next week will be an important aspect of this role. This role demands a high level of organizational acumen, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and effective communication skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will oversee project timelines, resource allocation, budget management, and the quality of project deliverables. They will also mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure projects align with the strategic goals of the company. This position requires someone who can foster collaboration and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Strong leadership abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential to excel in this role.
The candidate is required to have strong project coordination and issue management experience, able to plan weekly efforts, manage communications, have prior experience in working within project governance structures, in documenting meeting minutes, maintaining project issues such as; defects, open items, and completed items (in Excel, Jira, or other tracking system). The candidate will be working in a matrixed but highly collaborative environment. This position is currently a hybrid remote position with the candidate able to come into the Quincy MA office when requested.
