Position Overview
- The Fertigation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and executing all irrigation and fertigation activities within the Worcester Cultivation facility, and to support the Cultivation team when necessary. This role ensures cannabis plants receive precise and timely water and nutrient delivery while maintaining equipment functionality and supporting cultivation operations. The Fertigation Supervisor serves as a role model to teammates by demonstrating professionalism, strong work ethic, and collaboration, while stepping into all areas of cultivation as needed.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Fertigation & Irrigation OversightOperate and maintain fertigation systems, including Dosatrons , reservoirs, and drip irrigation lines.Conduct routine system checks, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on irrigation equipment to ensure consistent performance.Monitor and collect runoff data to validate proper nutrient and water delivery, adjusting schedules as needed.Ensure open sprinkler irrigation schedules are delivering proper irrigation volumes aligned with plant growth stage and environmental demands.Maintain accurate logs of irrigation schedules, nutrient mixes, EC / PPM / pH levels, and corrective actions taken.Cultivation SupportAssist with all aspects of cultivation, including vegetative, flowering, and harvest operations .Participate in bucking, trimming, and plant handling whenever fertigation tasks are complete.Collaborate with cultivation leadership to align fertigation strategy with overall crop planning and production goals.Team Leadership & Role ModelingProvide guidance and training to cultivation staff on fertigation practices and system operation.Model professional conduct, teamwork, and attention to detail, setting the standard for cultivation teams.Additional DutiesPerform overtime work as needed during critical growth cycles, emergencies, or system failures.Support compliance with CCC regulations and company SOPs relating to nutrient storage, environmental discharge, and plant health standards.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.QUALIFICATIONS
21+ and currently residing in the USAHorticulture and / or Agricultural Experience, 2+ years (preferred)Supervisor Experience, 1+ years (preferred)Cannabis Industry Experience, 1+ years (preferred)Advanced Communication, Math, Organizational, and Computer SkillsDispensing Organization Agent Identification Card (ability to obtain upon hire)Associate Degree or Industry Training EquivalentWORKING CONDITIONS
