Summer 2026 Staff Intern HR Learning & Development Team

PSEG is looking for a Summer 2026 Staff Intern HR Learning & Development Team. This job involves working as an intern and will be remote local, meaning that most of the day to work can be done remote, but will come into the office as needed for in person meetings and engagement opportunities. Incumbents will be working alongside HR professionals in the Learning and Development Team. The intern can expect to work on multiple projects and bring new ideas to the table including - assist in the program management and coordination of cohort based programs. This position will be Hybrid Flexible.

Assignments will include working alongside professionals in the following areas :

  • Assist with program development and redesign.
  • Review and analyze results of employee course evaluations and prepare executive summary of findings and potential improvement recommendations.
  • Track employee progress in programs utilizing LMS reports.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordination of monthly Leadership Programs.
  • Serves as point of contact for L&D functions for all course participants.
  • Monitor the progress of program participants.
  • Assist with communication of L&D calendar of events with Corporate Communications.
  • Strong project management, organizational and communication skills.
  • Should be detail oriented and possess good relationship building skills.

Job Specific Qualifications :

  • The successful incumbent(s) must be actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in Human Resource Management, Leadership / Organizational Development, Labor Relations, or related Human Resources major and graduating between December 2026 and May 2029.
  • Students graduating in May / June 2026 are not eligible unless they are enrolling in a post-graduate degree program in the fall term of 2026.
  • PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.
  • Incumbents must have completed freshman level course work for consideration.
  • Desired :
  • 3.0 GPA
  • All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no medical benefits associated with these positions. Incumbents are expected to work 40 hours per week over the duration of the summer internship. We are targeting currently enrolled / matriculating students that are able to commute to their designated work location as needed. Housing, transportation, and immigration support will not be provided in association with these positions.
