Summary :

Minneola Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an HR / Payroll Assistant and Accounts Payable Clerk. This position plays a crucial role in supporting both the human resources and finance departments by ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining employee records, and managing accounts payable tasks.

Responsibilities :

  • Process payroll for employees using UKG Pro and WFM, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Maintain employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes to employment status.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed.
  • Assist in administering employee benefits programs and answering employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
  • Manage accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
  • Verify and review expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting activities.
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager and Finance team to ensure seamless operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the HR and Finance departments.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience (1-2 years) in payroll processing, accounts payable, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with UKG Pro or similar payroll software is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Education :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional certification in payroll administration or HR management is a plus.
  • Work Schedule :

  • Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM (may vary based on operational needs).
