About The Position

Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Surgical PCU setting.

The unit requires experience in post-surgical care, telemetry monitoring, and managing surgical patients.

RNs will be expected to work rotating shifts of three 12-hour days and nights.

Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and managing a patient population post-surgery.

Weekend shifts are required, totaling six shifts within a six-week period.

Float requirements may include medical PCU or acute care / med surge areas as needed.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1 : 5 but may vary based on unit demands.

Charting will be done using an electronic medical record system.

RNs will need experience with various medical procedures and patient management protocols.

Candidates must demonstrate flexibility in their scheduling preferences.

Special equipment and support services will be part of the interdisciplinary team on the unit.

All candidates must have a valid RN license and the necessary certifications to be considered for this role.
