How you will make an impact

  • Craft educational, engaging articles on insurance topics following writing briefs provided by our editors.
  • Work with Insurify's editorial and SEO teams to optimize content for freshness, engagement, and SEO value.
  • Identify new opportunities to use our proprietary data to inform readers about important insurance-related topics.
  • Monitor insurance industry media and state insurance departments to identify breaking news relevant to our users, and write news articles based on research.
  • Support cross-functional partners with copywriting for a variety of communication vehicles, from email marketing to press releases, data insights articles and reports, to product pages.
  • Collaborate with the SEO, Product, and Marketing teams on cross-functional projects, including copywriting, editing, and content optimization.
  • Perform minor editorial tasks as needed.

Who you are

  • An utter devotion to the written word – you live to write.
  • Flexibility to write about a variety of topics in multiple styles.
  • Passionate about helping people make better insurance decisions through well-researched, easy-to-understand content.
  • Ability to juggle multiple, concurrent deadlines for a diverse range of products.
  • Undergraduate degree with relevant coursework (English, Communications, Marketing, etc.), and quantitative aptitude.
  • Top-notch research skills and willingness to master insurance topics.
  • Experience writing, posting, and managing web content in a distinct voice.
  • Willingness to pivot between multiple projects at once.
  • Team mentality with a solid work ethic and proactive attitude.
