We are looking for a Catering / Event Sales Manager at a beautiful Hotel on the California Central Coast. This position is responsible for maintaining current accounts and prospecting and closing on new accounts, to positively impact hotel revenues. Catering / Event Sales Manager Requirements and Qualifications :
Experience in catering sales.High School diploma or equivalent required.Must be skilled in Windows / Microsoft.Demonstrated ability to increase sales revenues and attract new business while taking great care of existing relationshipsSuperb organization / communication skills to lead & manage BEO meetings, site visits, etc..Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.Catering / Event Sales Manager Preferred Background and Skills :
Some college preferred.Experience working at a Full-Service Hotel or Resort / Hotel in a Catering Sales capacity of 250 people or more.Good understanding of food / beverage and catering sales.Experience working with a large team.
