The Ryan Institute, LLC is looking for individuals that have a strong desire to help students and families from various backgrounds overcome academic challenges. A qualified candidate for our in-person academic mentor position should have the following :
Qualifications :
Capable of completing a successful FBI background check and fingerprintingPatient, flexible, positive, consistent, dependable and cooperative with a sense of humorDemonstrate clear and concise communication and writing skillsProficiency in using web-based applicationsAbility to maintain confidential informationExperience working with school-aged childrenAvailability to work during the school day and after school, if neededResponsibilities
Assist students in targeted subject areas via individual or small group tutoringFacilitate problem-solving with a curious mind and critical thinking skillsCollaborate effectively with parents and the organization to increase student performanceSupervise scholars and ensures their safety, development, growth, skill achievement, and general well-beingAssists in maintaining accurate program records, including incident reports, logbook documentation, and daily attendanceFacilitate and create lesson plans for daily activitiesOrganize and leads various small and large group activitiesPerform other duties as assigned
