Location : Wilson, NC 27893 (Eastern North Carolina healthcare jobs)

Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract

Start Date : November 9, 2025

End Date : February 8, 2026

Shift : 12-hour nights (19 : 00-07 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,570 - $1,680

Setting : Emergency Department (ED), 17 beds

Patient Ratios : 1 : 4

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Self-Scheduling : Available via "When to Work" app

Dress Code : Navy blue scrubs (no hoodie sweatshirts)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (North Carolina or compact state)

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience

At least 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred

Current certifications : ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIH Stroke (required for ER RN jobs)

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher

Proven ability to manage patient care for all acuity levels in a fast-paced ER setting

Excellent teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills

ER RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients

Monitor, assess, and respond promptly to changes in patient status

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document care using ED Paragon EHR system

Maintain a safe, supportive, and efficient environment for patients and staff

Participate in bi-weekly orientation and ongoing professional development
