MRI Technologist
at
Atrium Health Cabarrus , you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality imaging for a diverse patient population — from emergency and inpatient to outpatient settings.
Enjoy working in a
state-of-the-art imaging department
equipped with
Siemens 3T
and
GE 1.5T
scanners, supported by a collaborative radiology team and the latest EPIC EMR technology.
Perform MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
Operate MRI scanners, post-processing software, injectors, and monitoring equipment
Screen and prepare patients while maintaining comfort and safety
Administer IV contrast per protocol and document all details accurately
Evaluate image quality and collaborate with radiologists for optimal results
Provide patient care, assist during procedures, and respond to medical emergencies as needed
Ensure MRI safety standards are maintained for all staff and patients
Graduate of an
accredited Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program
ARRT (R)(MR) / ARMRIT
certification required
BLS (AHA or ARC)
certification required
Experience with Siemens and GE MRI equipment preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
