About The Position

Must-Have :

• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures

Description :

Performs computerized tomographic radiographs according to established practices and procedures.

Reviews exams for clinical appropriateness.

Appropriately prioritizes exams.

Demonstrates effective communication of critical situations.

Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required.

Must track cumulative dose of radiation exposure and be monitored appropriately.

Supply of a dose badge is essential for monitoring radiation exposure in the workplace.

Each employee's cumulative dose must be tracked, and failure to supply an employee with a dose badge can lead to consequences.

Agencies must prioritize the issuance and management of dose badges to ensure a safe working environment.
