We're looking for a Junior Estimator to join our growing preconstruction team and support the development of detailed, competitive electrical estimates for industrial and infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn from senior estimators, contribute to high-value pursuits, and play an essential role in shaping the projects that power our communities.
What You'll Do
Support the development of full-scope electrical estimates for industrial and DOT projects
Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and input data into Accubid and other estimating software
Assist with subcontractor and vendor solicitation, scope review, and bid leveling
Review drawings and specifications to identify scope, constructability, and potential risks
Support detailed unit pricing and participate in estimate reviews with the Chief and Lead Estimators
Prepare and organize bid documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness under tight deadlines
Collaborate closely with the preconstruction and operations teams to ensure a seamless project handoff
What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills
3+ years of Accubid experience (required)
2–4 years of experience in electrical estimating or a related construction field
Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and construction documentation
Solid math, analytical, and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related tools
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
Education
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered

Salary offers are typically made between the entry and midpoint of the range and are based on factors such as experience, education, and internal equity.
