Clinic Care Nurse Practitioner Needed (Part time)

Part time (Weekend) Nurse Practitioner for Clinic Care needed once or twice a month, Sat - Sun, 8 : 00am - 6 : 30pm For more information on our practice, please visit us at : www.clinicsofnorthtexas.com

• Current Texas State Nurse Practitioner License
• Current CPR Certification
• New graduate acceptable
• Excellent work ethic, compassionate disposition, and ability to establish positive relationships with both patients and families
• Preform wellness exams. Able to provide a history, exam, and plan of care. Would need to be knowledgeable of preventative cares by age and gender.
• Perform acute visits. Able to see and evaluate acute illnesses and develop a plan of care under the physician's supervision.
• Complete necessary paperwork. Able to complete administrative tasks and paperwork including but not limited to prior authorizations
• Medication prescription. Able to prescribe and monitor medications-not including controlled substances-must know when certain medications require lab or specialty monitoring.
• Able to recognize when specialist referral is needed, when urgent / emergent care requiring escalation to supervising physician or ER is needed.
• Ability to provide women's health services / exams
• Experience with geriatric patients
• Nurse home experience
• ER / Urgent Care experience
• Knowledge of billing and coding
