Test Engineer

Overview

Possess deep knowledge across multiple domains, with strong adaptability to handle complex and challenging situations. Demonstrate the ability to clarify requirements, proactively identify and resolve issues, and take ownership of solutions. In addition, you will be responsible for building and leading a testing team, providing training, and driving the adoption of automation and AI-powered testing practices.

What to do

• Perform all essential tester activities (including manual testing when necessary).
• Design and implement Test Strategies for each project, covering both UI testing and functional testing.
• Apply AI and automation testing tools to automate the testing process for both UI and functional layers, including developing and maintaining test scripts / frameworks.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential risks.
• Prepare and review test plans and test scenarios, ensuring maximum test coverage.
• Analyze test results, identify and report defects, track fixes, and perform re-tests.
• Mentor and coach team members on automation, AI-powered testing, and testing best practices.
• Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Dev, BA, PM, etc.) to ensure project quality and timelines are met.
