Infrastructure Design Engineer

A company is looking for an Infrastructure Design Engineer to join their team remotely in the Seattle, WA area or a similar time zone.

Key Responsibilities

Design and create layouts for data center infrastructure, including facilities structure and equipment

Perform capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure scalability and efficiency

Monitor and optimize performance of data center components to meet SLAs and business requirements

Required Qualifications

Strong knowledge of data center architecture and minimum design requirements for network, compute, and storage

Proven experience in a large-scale data center or telecom environment

Solid understanding of physical design standards and IT security best practices

Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for designing data center layouts

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, VCP) are a plus
