Job Title : Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment

Location : Tucson, AZ 85719

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing, On-Site

Start Date : December 8, 2025

End Date : March 9, 2026

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Hours per Week : 36

Guaranteed Hours : 24

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Open Positions : 2

On-Call : Schedule determined by facility

Weekend Schedule : Determined by facility

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1990 - $2130

PCU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years (24 months) of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience required

Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license

Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

No license restrictions or disciplinary actions

Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)

Must not have an Arizona home address on driver’s license

Compliance with all facility background and credentialing requirements

PCU RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit

Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions

Administer medications and prescribed treatments accurately

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions

Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation

Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance standards
