At The Salvation Army Midland Divisional Headquarters , we're seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our Regional Accounting Center. This position has the opportunity to work in Springfield out of the Springfield Corps location. With a recent software upgrade , this role offers the perfect opportunity to bring fresh ideas, help shape new processes and be a key contributor to our long-term success.

What You'll Do :

You'll perform full-charge accounting for multiple locations, supporting our ministry operations. Duties include :

• Day-to-day accounting functions, including revenues, payables, and ledger management
• Monthly closings, bank reconciliations, and analysis reporting
• Review and manage budget variances, restricted assets, and grant coordination
• Work closely with Corps Officers and supervisors to ensure financial transparency and compliance
• Help maintain accuracy, efficiency, and integrity in all accounting processes
