Thomas & Hutton is currently seeking a motivated Landscape Architect in our Chamblee (Atlanta) office or Buford, Georgia office to join our growing team by establishing, leading, and growing a team in our Atlanta office . As a member of our landscape architecture department, the successful candidate will work collaboratively in an interactive studio environment throughout all phases of multiple projects. Responsibilities will include project management which will include coordination with the Clients, design team, permitting jurisdiction and contractors, design (schematic, design development and construction level), preparation of construction plans that will include planting and hardscape plans and details, specifications, reports, studies, cost estimates and permit applications. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth in our fast-paced, collaborative and client-focused practice.

Job Duties will include :

• Master planning through detailed design activities as both a project manager and project contributor.
• Mentoring and technical oversight of junior and mid-level staff.
• Business development activities including but not limited to networking, preparation of proposals, interviewing, and negotiating fees.
• Preparation / review of deliverables including reports, cost estimates, renderings, plans and specifications.
• Miscellaneous tasks as required to assist the project team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Must submit a portfolio that accurately represents experience and understanding of the design process to include built projects photos, presentation graphics and other design materials that represent skill set.
