Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1990 - $2130 Med / Surg Tele RN Job Details Location : Yuma, Arizona (zip 85364) – Arizona nursing jobs Facility Setting : Acute Care – Med Surg / Telemetry, 2 West Unit Assignment Type : Travel RN contract Start Date : November 17, 2025 (non-flexible) End Date : February 16, 2026 Contract Length : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour nights (6 : 45pm – 7 : 15am) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Holiday Requirement : Typically 2 out of 3 holidays Scrub Color : Navy Blue Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Registered Nurse) Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience, with at least 1 year in Med / Surg Telemetry Recent experience in a Trauma Level I or II hospital preferred BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred Proficiency with Epic EMR system Ability to float to MedSurg, stable low acuity ICU, RDU, and Foothills clinic RDU as needed Must comply with the 100-mile radius rule Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with medical diagnoses such as pneumonia, COPD, radiation therapy, acute kidney injury, and post-surgical conditions Maintain nurse-patient ratios of 1 : 6 during night shifts Collaborate with charge nurses, patient care techs, and monitor techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes Utilize respiratory therapy equipment including Bipap and stable trach Document all care and interventions using Epic EMR Participate in unit-specific orientation and ongoing nursing education Respond to low census on-call requirements and float as needed to support the healthcare team Experience the benefits of travel nursing in Arizona and make a positive impact in patient care.
