About The Position

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department nursing

License : RN license required

Certifications : BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

• Minimum of 2 years ED nursing experience
• Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Comfortable taking care of pediatric patients

Description :

The emergency department is a high-volume unit with a 38-bed capacity.

There are 5 fast track rooms and an internal waiting room.

The unit includes 4 behavioral health swing rooms and 2 trauma / resuscitation rooms.

Although it is not a trauma hospital, it handles high-acuity cases.

Nurses must be comfortable providing care to children.

Blocked schedules cannot be accommodated.
