Senior Quality Engineer (NVD)

Senior Quality Engineer Foxconn is seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Quality Engineer to join our team.

In this critical role, you will ensure product quality across complex PCBA and system-level manufacturing processes , while serving as a key technical liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

You will lead data-driven investigations, drive corrective actions, and hold partners accountable for meeting quality standards.

A major focus of this position is ensuring flawless quality execution during New Product Introduction (NPI) builds , partnering with engineering and operations teams to validate manufacturability, compliance, and scale-up readiness.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead weekly Quality Summary Reports for internal and external stakeholders, providing analysis, trends, and corrective action updates.
• Analyze yield data and failure analysis reports across PCBA, mechanical, and system-level processes .
• Identify recurring quality issues and drive root-cause investigations with cross-functional teams and supply-chain partners.
• Ensure NPI build quality management , including first-article inspection, validation of new processes, and early detection of design or manufacturability issues.
• Hold sub-tier vendors and factory teams accountable when defect trends impact customer deliverables.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for quality escalations on assigned products and processes, demonstrating strong customer service skills in managing expectations and providing timely resolutions.
• Review and validate supplier and factory FA (Failure Analysis) reports for accuracy and alignment with expectations.

Apply critical thinking skills to interpret complex data, evaluate risks, and implement effective solutions.

Required Qualifications :

Expertise in applying IPC-A-610D (acceptability of electronic assemblies) and J-STD-001 (JSPEC) soldering standards for complex PCBA and system assembly .
