The Senior Project Manager is a key leader responsible for the overall success of complex and high-impact construction projects, typically ranging from $25M to $100M+. This role leads all phases of project lifecycle managementpreconstruction, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, field operations, financial forecasting, client relations, and closeoutwhile mentoring project teams and ensuring delivery that aligns with XL Construction's quality, safety, and business objectives.

In addition to core execution responsibilities, the SPM plays a critical role in project pursuit, business development, and client relationship management, partnering closely with the Executive and Preconstruction teams to grow existing accounts and position XL for future work.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

• Oversee multiple projects or a single large-scale, complex project from pursuit through completion.
• Lead all aspects of preconstruction planning, including budgets, schedules, logistics, and risk mitigation.
• Direct project delivery teams including Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, architects, and consultants; foster long-term partnerships and ensure exceptional client service.
• Drive project safety culture in coordination with the field team and Safety department.

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $170,000 to $200,000 annually, in accordance with California pay transparency laws. Final compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
