Position Overview
In this position, the employee will be responsible for coordinating training events and maintaining the Learning Management System in a highly technical and regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Maintain training data and records within the Learning Management System
Market available training opportunities to employees and provide necessary information
Assists regulatory inspections by providing training records and information related to training processes
Assists in the analysis, design and development, implementation and evaluation of complex technical training activities for employees and customers
Assists in the facilitation of individual and group technical training courses and activities for employees and customers
Assists in the development of training materials to include training handbooks, job aids, models, multimedia visual aids, computer and web-based tutorials, and standard operating procedures
Guides the monitoring of effectiveness of course materials, reviews feedback and modifies / revises course materials
Works cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and PET manufacturing facilities to coordinate training initiatives
Monitors and maintains Learning Management System utilized by Siemens USA
Required Knowledge / Skills, Education, and Experience
AA,BA / BS in Education, Training, HR or related field
Experience coordinating multiple training events
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on rapport building, listening, and the ability to deliver effective training programs
Ability to interpret educational needs and develop effective instructional media solutions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Knowledge / Skills, Education, and Experience
Experience with the SABA Learning Management System but will train an otherwise well-qualified candidate.
