Job description

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment as the sole clinician in New York. This two-day opportunity begins on Oct 24, 2025, with shifts from 8am to 8pm and 9am to 4pm, covering a wide variety of urgent care cases. Candidates must have several years of urgent care experience and be comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities and Duties

Serve as the sole provider, managing all urgent care cases that present

Perform patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for a range of conditions

Deliver care independently, drawing on prior urgent care experience

Utilize the Epic EMR system for documentation and patient records

Additional Information

Must have an active NY license

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required

Board certification not required

Prior urgent care experience as a sole clinician is essential
