Senior Project Manager (San Diego)

An employer in San Diego is looking for a Project Manager to join their team. This person will be part of a very high performing, fast-paced PM team. The PM team supports over 400 business applications for their client. In this role, this person will be customer facing and managing projects end-to-end. This individual could be working on multiple IT enterprise solution projects at a time. This person will be expected to manage their own scheduling and documentation and ensure the project is punctual to the clients deadlines established. They will be working cross-functionally with internal teams per given project (8-12 internal employees / project). They will hold internal and external meetings, count minutes, and manage the budget per project. This person must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. This person can sit and work remotely but will be expected to function off West Coast hours (PST).

5-8 years of experience as a Project Manager managing software and application development projects

PMP certification

Kanban Experience

Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Bachelors Degree (unless 5 years good experience of PM)

Experience managing a project utilizing time and materials budgeting

O365 experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Professional experience calculating Earned Value Management (EVM)
