Position Summary :

The acute mental health counselor provides professional mental health care and case management of assigned patients under daily leadership of unit supervisor. Works closely with the psychiatrist, nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate treatment and discharge planning for the patient.

Work Location : 898 East Main Street, Greenwood, IN 46143

REQUIREMENTS :

Education : Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work or a clinical mental health field

License : LSW or LMHCA required; LCSW or LMHC preferred

Experience : Required 1 year experience in direct clinical care of patients / clients with mental health or chemical dependency diagnosis.

Additional Requirements : Must be at least 21 years of age.

Work Hours : Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm
