Location : DuBois, PA

Position Details :

  • Specialty : Urology
  • Shift : Monday to Friday, 24-hour call (7 : 00 AM 7 : 00 AM)
  • Coverage : 1-2 weeks per month (4-8 shifts)
  • Facility Type : Critical Access Hospital (228 beds)
  • Trauma Level : II

Responsibilities :

  • Provide 24-hour weekday call coverage.
  • Perform procedures such as cystoscopy, stent placements, kidney stone treatments (including holmium laser lithotripsy), and emergency surgeries if required.
  • Consult with the Emergency Department and other providers for Foley catheter placements.
  • Rounding on inpatient settings if procedures are performed.

    • Support & Technology :

  • Support Staff : Urology PA and inpatient support team.
  • EMR Systems : Cerner (inpatient) and GE Centricity (outpatient for patient records).

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certification : Required (Urology).
  • Licensure : Pennsylvania State License required (IMLC accepted).
  • DEA License : Required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience preferred.

    • Facility Details :

  • Patient Population : Adults (18+).
  • Procedures : Includes cystoscopy, kidney stone treatment, UTI management, and other emergency urology procedures.
