Compensation Type : Salary

Salary Range : $140,000-$166,000

Hours per Week : 40

Reports to : Chief Executive Officer

Position Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as the top financial executive and a key member of the senior leadership team at Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Virginia. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO is responsible for the overall strategic financial management of the organization, providing leadership on financial reporting, long-range fiscal planning, and internal controls. The CFO guides financial policy and works closely with the CEO, the board, and other executives to ensure the organization’s financial health, sustainability, and legal compliance.

Job Duties

Financial and strategic leadership :

• Oversee all financial, accounting, investment, and asset management functions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable laws and regulations.
• Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and other senior leaders to influence organization-wide strategy and business planning.
• Guide the Finance and Investment Committees of the Board in financial oversight, policy implementation, and investment strategies.
