The Weston Group , a national provider of Rehabilitation Services, is currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable full time Wellness and Exercise Instructor / Rehabilitation Technician to join our dedicated therapy team that helps in meeting the therapy needs of seniors!

We have a well-respected therapy team with a focus on functional clinical programs that help seniors stay healthy and safe.

This role will primarily be administrative duties and exercise classes for an Independent Living Facility and Assisted Living Facility in Alpharetta, GA
2 Exercise classes per day at one location and an additional exercise class at the other location MWF. 13 classes per week.
Facilities are 10 minutes apart. Applicant must have reliable transportation for this role.
Ideal candidate will reside in Alpharetta, GA.

POSITION DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive work assignments concerning preparation of tasks from the Therapists.

Obtain supplies necessary for use in therapist's patient treatments.

Assist therapists during ambulation and gait training, ADLS, speech and swallowing services.

Observe patients and notifies therapists of patient distress or malfunctioning equipment.

Maintain neatness of therapy department.

Transport patients safely to therapy and return patient to appropriate area after completion of therapy.

Complete other tasks to assist in safe and efficient operations within the therapy department.

Assist in creating lists for supplies necessary for use in various facilities.

Assist in maintenance of administrative record keeping systems.

Facilitate the wellness and exercise programs at facilities as assigned.

Leading daily exercise classes for seniors, patient care, assisting therapists.

Assisting with scheduling patients for therapists.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Wellness and Exercise Instructor / Rehabilitation Technician is not required to have a degree; however, we strongly prefer administrative, healthcare, exercise and / or geriatric related experience and background knowledge.

Rate of $18 / hr for administrative tasks and $20 / hr while leading exercise classes
