  • Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)\n

  • Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n
  • Number of Openings : 4\n

  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1950-$2090\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN experience\n
  • First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply\n
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or Iowa\n
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications from AHA\n
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR (Electronic Medical Records)\n
  • Ability to manage a 1 : 4-5 patient ratio in a cardiac stepdown setting\n
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills\n
  • Must live at least 50 miles from the hospital (travel nursing requirement)\n

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team\n
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using EPIC EMR\n
  • Administer medications and implement individualized care plans\n
  • Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed\n
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other clinical professionals to optimize patient outcomes\n
  • Participate in charge nurse and precepting duties as assigned\n
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations\n
