Patient Financial Services Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Financial Services Representative for Orthopedics and General Surgery.

Key Responsibilities

Perform registration and check-in processes, including data entry and obtaining necessary signatures

Verify insurance eligibility and assist in obtaining pre-certification, referrals, and authorizations

Calculate and collect patient liability while providing financial guidance and alternative payment options

Required Qualifications

High school diploma / GED or equivalent working knowledge

One or more years of experience in patient financial services or insurance industry processes

Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision

Strong knowledge of common office software including word processing and spreadsheets

Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a wide range of audiences
