Travel & Expense Analyst

This is a contract position. Travel & Expense Analyst is responsible for supporting the company's global travel and expense (T&E) operations, including oversight of the corporate card and purchasing card programs, expense audit processes, and vendor relationships. This role ensures compliance with company policies, develops standard operating procedures, provides employee support and training, and delivers actionable reporting and analysis to drive efficiency and cost savings across global operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the global corporate card and purchasing card programs, including card issuance, maintenance, and reconciliation.
• Serve as the main liaison between the company, card issuers, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor card usage, compliance, and delinquency to ensure adherence to company policies.
• Oversee the global expense report auditing process performed by an offshore team using SAP Concur (or other T&E platforms).
• Monitor quality and timeliness of audits, providing guidance and resolving escalations.
• Ensure adherence to global travel and expense policies across all regions.
• Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for T&E and card-related processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to create and improve processes for expense management and compliance.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
• Provide training and communications to employees on travel, expense, and corporate card policies and tools.
• Respond to employee inquiries and resolve issues in a timely, customer-focused manner.
• Support change management efforts related to new policies, system updates, or vendor changes.
• Assist the T&E Manager in managing relationships with travel and card vendors, ensuring service quality and cost efficiency.
• Support travel vendor performance reviews and contribute to sourcing initiatives when needed.
• Run regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards on expense and card data to analyze spend, compliance trends, and key metrics.
• Provide insights and recommendations to management based on spend analysis and audit findings.
• Support internal and external audit requests related to T&E activities.
