Milling Machinist

Staffmark is hiring a Milling Machinist to operate precision milling machines and fabricate, assemble, and repair intricate metal and other material parts according to engineering drawings and blueprints. This role requires a combination of technical skill, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities to ensure parts meet strict specifications.

Pay : $24-$28 / hour (Depending on expereince.)

Shift : 1st Shift | 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM

Responsibilities :

• Machine Operation : Set up, operate, and monitor milling machines (manual and CNC) to cut, shape, and form materials
• Blueprint Reading : Study technical drawings, blueprints, sketches, and CAD / CAM files to determine part dimensions, tolerances, and workflow
• Setup & Calibration : Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials; adjust machine settings for precision
• Quality Control : Inspect finished workpieces using precision instruments like micrometers and gauges to verify specifications
• Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure machine reliability
• Program Editing : Edit CNC programs and recommend process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
• Collaboration : Work with engineers, programmers, and production teams to resolve machining or assembly issues
