A day in the shop

At our Houston, TX, 77041 facility, you’ll be the go-to expert turning raw stock into precision components. Your day begins by setting up multi-axis CNC lathes with live tooling, dialing in offsets, and verifying first-article parts against blueprints. Throughout the shift, you’ll monitor cycle performance, make smart adjustments, and keep production flowing smoothly while upholding rigorous quality and safety standards.

What you’ll handle

• Set up and operate CNC equipment to produce parts to spec, with a strong preference for experience on multi-axis lathes with live tooling.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accuracy.
• Continuously monitor machine operations; adjust parameters and tooling to maintain quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Apply and uphold safety and quality regulations throughout every job.
• Collaborate with teammates to streamline processes and boost efficiency.
• Document production data and maintain clear, accurate records of work.
