Senior Electrical Estimator- Mission Critical

Position Overview

The Senior Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates for electrical projects, focusing on commercial, industrial, and mission-critical sectors, including data centers. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems and the ability to analyze project requirements to deliver accurate and competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects in commercial, industrial, and mission-critical sectors.
  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather project information and clarify specifications.
  • Review and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to facilitate project success.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss progress and any necessary adjustments to estimates.
  • Monitor project performance and update estimates as needed throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrical estimator in commercial and industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components relevant to mission-critical environments.
  • Experience with estimating software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
