Position Overview :
We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Kubernetes Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Lead Kubernetes Architect, you will play a key role in designing, deploying, and optimizing Kubernetes-based architectures and solutions for our clients. This is a hands-on role that requires deep expertise in Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, and a strong understanding of DevOps / SRE practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable and efficient systems, ensuring seamless migration to containerized environments.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, architect, and implement Kubernetes solutions for scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native applications.
Lead the migration of legacy applications to Kubernetes-based infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption and high availability.
Collaborate with development teams to establish and improve Kubernetes deployment pipelines.
Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers and developers on Kubernetes best practices.
Collaborate with other teams (DevOps / SRE, Cloud, AI, Data Analytics) to integrate Kubernetes with existing systems and services.
Troubleshoot complex issues related to Kubernetes environments, containers, and orchestration.
Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) in cloud-based environments.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud technologies.
Required Qualifications :
5+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes architecture, design, and implementation.
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native application development.
Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and tooling.
Experience with DevOps and SRE practices, including automation, monitoring, and scaling.
Proven experience in managing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and implementing Kubernetes solutions in the cloud.
Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Helm, etc.) and orchestration systems.
Experience with Kubernetes migrations and managing complex workloads at scale.
Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex technical problems.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
Certification in Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD, etc.) or other relevant certifications.
Experience in AI, Data Analytics, or Cybersecurity projects is a plus.
Familiarity with microservices architectures and cloud-native design patterns.
