This Accounting Specialist Position Features :
This AP & Payroll Coordinator Position Features : Job Description : Accounts Payable Specialist (for all 3 companies) Invoice Processing - Receiving, verifying, coding, and entering invoices into the accounts payable system Payment Processing - Preparing and scheduling payments to vendors, monitoring discount opportunities, and resolving payment discrepancies. Reconciliation of vendor account statements Record Keeping - Maintaining accurate and organized records of vendor transactions, invoices, and payments. Vendor communication - Addressing and responding to vendor inquiries, resolving billing and payment issues, and maintaining positive relationships. Working with equipment manager – must maintain a professional working relationship with equipment manager to ensure all invoices are being processed correctly. Payroll Specialist (for one company only) (weekly payroll) Data Entry and Maintenance : Maintaining up-to-date and accurate employee information, wages, taxes, and deduction records in the payroll system. Time Tracking and Verification : Verifying hours worked, managing attendance records, and ensuring accuracy of time entries. Processing Payroll : Coding timecards, vacation accrual, direct deposit submission, printing payroll checks, verifying ap entries for benefit payments and closing payroll. Record Keeping & Auditing : Maintaining accurate payroll records and performing internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. Employee Support : Addressing employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, deductions, benefits, and pay discrepancies. Policy Enforcement : Enforcing payroll policies and procedures and staying updated on labor laws and company policies to make necessary adjustments to payroll processes. Great benefits.
